Of all the anecdotal evidence of a possible Scott Brown win, there is none more poignant than the ugly behavior that is brewing on the left. When the left loses [or is about to lose] they go to that really dark and ugly place.
Already we are seeing signs of it. First we have the effete snob John Kerry trying to paint Brown supporters as some deranged lynch mob.
From Boston.com:
"I'm no stranger to hard fought campaigns, but what we've seen in the past few days is way over the line and reminiscent of the dangerous atmosphere of Sarah Palin's 2008 campaign rallies. This is not how democracy works in Massachusetts," Kerry said this afternoon in a statement.
"Scott Brown needs to speak up and get his out of state tea party supporters under control. In Massachusetts, we fight hard and win elections on the issues and on our differences, not with bullying and threats," Kerry said.
Yeah, right, sounds to me like he is quaking in his boots that Massachusetts might toss his long face ass overboard when his term is up.
Next up we have a very ugly diatribe from our favorite loon Keith Olbermann:
Whew! Talk about a mess of ugly! I have to laugh my ass off at this one a bit. Here is old Keithy getting hoity toity about whom the American people send to the US Senate. Well where was that attitude of his when Minnesota sent Stuart Smalley to the Senate?
The most telling ugly action by the left that Scott Brown might just pull this off is none other than the Blame Game. It has already started too. Huffington Post is blaming the compromises in the healthcare bill; Andrew Sullivan and Mother Jones are blaming Bush and Republican rule. These are just the early cries. Should Scott Brown win, you will be hearing the Blame Game endlessly. A finger will be pointed at everyone from Obama to Pelosi, from Reid to Coakley, from Progressives to Blue Dogs, from special interest to the electorate. Everybody and their mother will be to blame, except the real culprit the policies themselves. The left never blame the actual policies they push.
Hopefully if we are all lucky, all this ugliness will keep the left too busy to actually pass that nasty turd call healthcare reform.
