Rasmussen Reports finds that 57% of Americans would like to replace the entire Congress. No surprise here, with Congress chock full of self serving opportunists, Democrats that all but come out the closet as full blown Marxists and Republicans who could not find a conservative principle if it bit them on the ass, it is no wonder America is mad as hell.
What was nice to see what that Independence are wising up:
While Democrats have become more supportive of the legislators, voters not affiliated with either major party have moved in the opposite direction. Today, 70% of those not affiliated with either major party would vote to replace all of the elected politicians in the House and Senate. That’s up from 62% last year.
Congressional Republicans had better get with the program as well because the base ain’t happy either:
Republicans, not surprisingly, overwhelmingly support replacing everyone in the Congress. Their views have not changed. But Republican voters are disenchanted with their team as much as the Congress itself: 69% of GOP Voters say Republicans in Congress are out of touch with the party base.
I say start talking to your friends, family and neighbors. Make sure they are all registered to vote, if not help them. Then come November 2010, take as many of them to the polls with you and lets Clean House!
By the way, here is a bit of inspiration I found on The Astute Bloggers about how Japan cleaned out their government.
