Glenn Beck strikes a nerve at the White House

The White House attacked Glenn Beck today on the official White House blog.

The official White House blog slammed Glenn Beck today, accusing the host of displaying a "disregard for the facts in an attempt to smear the Administration's efforts to win the Olympics for the United States."

Last night, the conservative firebrand attacked the President for lobbying hard to get the 2016 Olympics to come to Chicago.

Today, the White House released a point by point rebuttal of some of Beck's statements.

Actually Beck did not smear the Administration’s efforts for trying to win the Olympics for Chicago. Instead, Beck spent most of the segment showcasing Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s right hand gal, and her ties to various shady characters. But it is the connection between Valerie Jarrett, the Chicago Olympic committee and the Chicago slumlords [herself included] that stand to make big money off their roach motels should the Olympics come to Chicago.

In other words, Glenn Beck struck a nerve. Something tells me after Beck’s next segment, Valerie Jarrett may not want to unpack her suitcase after she returns from Copenhagen.
